In My Mailbox! (8)

I have a few books this week to wave about, so here goes.

LIBRARY BOOKS

I have been wanting to read The Painted Man and The Gunslinger for some time now and I finally decided I'd give them a try.

SWAPPED
I am not too sure what to expect from this book but it sounds good.

BOUGHT
I was trying to not buy anything for a while but I have been desperate for Pegasus and I finally spotted it in the book shop. A friend recommended Equations of Life and I needed Con and Conjure so that I can be done with that series till the next book comes out next year.

Yes, pathetic reason but what can I say, I'm an addict. :)

    A girl after my own heart! I've been meaning to read Gunslinger, literally, for YEARS and still haven't gotten around to it. I know. I'm bad. Painted Man I have heard fantastic things about. Dune's been sat on my shelf for years. And the Liveship Traders! I'm still reading the Fool trilogy actually. I have the last 2 just haven't had chance to read them yet and it's starting to annoy me that I own the entire trilogy, bought them together just after Christmas, and still haven't finished. As I said, I'm bad xD Great week for you!

    I've been meaning to read the Dark Tower series too... I bought the first three.. wasn't in the right mood so I couldn't really get into the first one! Will have to give it another try again.. :)

    Oooh Pegasus! I have it on my Kindle already, but I want it in paperback form just because it's so pretty. I've heard good things about it.

    I keep meaning the read Gunslinger for ages now, especially as I think they're making a film of it? So I'd like to have it finished before then!

    I have The Painted Man on my Kindle too, but it was so long ago when I bought it that I can't even remember what it's about!

    Ooh, I can't fully see which Dune that is but I hope it's by Frank and not his son.
    I've wanted to read Pegasus for a while! Robin McKinley is pretty highly recommended.

    Nice IMM! I heard that Pegasus has an AWFUL cliffhanger, because it just ends so abruptly? I believe there is another book coming out, so that's why, but it has me a little iffy on it. I hate when that happens...
